DEFYING DECOHERENCE
Site-specific performance (2018)
Site-specific performance (2018)
An illusion, an arrow, a flowing river, the expansion of the universe, biological processes of memory, the increasing entropy in the world, a causal structure, a cycle repeating itself, a sea to move through like a sailing ship, or a part of the larger fabric of the universe. What if we are not located at a single time, but exist in a temporally scattered condition, spread out in time the same way we are spread out in space?
A site-specific performance exploring time and repetition. Eight people wearing masks depicting the same face - the face of the artist - all simultaneously perform mundane household chores in the artist’s apartment.
